Bearding Bees Are Free To Bee

Why does this make me so nervous? I must bee suffering from swarm after shock.

The bees are bearding again.  It’s an impressive sight.  Yet, the pit of my stomach turns every time I see it, after my package swarmed in June. I hope this will go away eventually, but I just don’t trust those little buggers yet.  Not after everything we’ve been through.  That’s the funny thing about bees, you nurture them, house, feed and water them, go out of your way to keep them safe from insecticides and parasites, and yet they still might up and leave you at any time.  Much different from the average pet, bees are truly free to just bee. (Okay, I think that’s enough bee puns now).
