Thank you for helping bees and the environment!
You borrow our bees & hive. You get 2 lbs of honey, a beeswax share, website membership and more. We own the bees and hive & manage all their needs.
What You Get
*Our Bees, their hive, installation, beekeeping services and all care and management for the year including winterizing, parasite, pest and swarm management and feeding as needed.
*Pollination of your yard and neighborhood for the entire growing season.
*2 lbs of honey per hive from your own bees, delivered in time for the holidays. We separate harvests by location, and barring unusual hive issues will supply you with honey from your yard. Honey labelled with your name/location.
*1/2 lb beeswax share per hive or pair of beeswax taper candles if desired.
*One photo shoot of you with the bees, in a beesuit if desired. Pictures shared with you digitally for you to share.
*Informal educational opportunity to watch an experienced beekeeper. One on one mentoring not included but you are welcome to watch and ask questions as we open the hive.
*The opportunity to observe honey bees right in your own yard.
*Invitation to open houses at our location in Beverly where you can gain experience with beekeeping activities such as inspecting bees, building woodenware or extracting or bottling honey.
*A website membership.
*Members only product discounts.
*Periodic updates about the hive.

Your Responsibilities:
*You agree to watch over the hive, but not open it, and let us know if you see anything unusual (boxes knocked over, theft, strange bee activity etc).
*You agree not to spray any pesticides and opt out of Mosquito Spraying.
*You agree to allow us access to the hive whenever needed to care for the bees.
*$300 deposit and signed contract required prior to sign up.
*After signing up you will be charged 12 monthly payments of $75. The first payment is due on or before the bees arrive and for the next 11 months thereafter.
*The Hive Hosting Program will continue for one year from the date the bees are placed on your property.
*The Hive Hosting Program automatically renews itself after each one-year period unless you or Beverly Bees decides to modify the agreement 30 days prior to renewal. If any price changes are made to the monthly fee you will be notified 60 days prior to contract renewal of the subsequent price change.
