Backyard beekeeping for the love of bees and honey.

This is my rooftop hive prepared for winter.  I have moved it against the house to provide a wind break from the winter winds.  It is wrapped in tar paper, has a candyboard installed and is strapped down with a cargo strap since it is up on the roof where it can get very windy.
